The ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center(ASEIC) is an inter-governmental body that promotes green growth primarily for small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) of ASEM member states through a range of unique activities. The establishment and operation of ASEIC was officially endorsed at the 8th ASEM Summit, and it was inaugurated on June 15 2011. It became an independently-managed foundation in 2014 to better implement projects that foster inclusive green growth of SMEs of ASEM member states
